Maffia Mr. Huws is the name mostly associated with Bethesda, a long time creative hub of the Welsh rock scene, and their influence has been way beyond their albums. At their best, they are a great live band, and their energetic and committed attitude to music and songs have always raised them above the norm. The two brothers Gwyn and Sion Jones have also been associated with other bands, and Gwyn now runs Stiwdio Bos with his partner, singer-harpist Sian James. The two singers of the band are Deiniol Huws and Hefin Huws, later replaced by Neil Williams. Their best tracks have been re-released on the CD ‘Croniclau’r Bwthyn’.
